Earlier this week Rix Petroleum enjoyed it's 67th Driffield Show for. The British weather didn't fail to disappoint with temperatures reaching a might 28c.
This year's show was as busy as ever and the Rix stand in true tradition served more than 500 scones and 1,000 cups of tea and coffee.
This was extra special for Rix as our home heating business, Rix Heating Services, turned 50 and to mark the “Golden anniversary” we decorated the stand with a specially commissioned golden van, 50th anniversary sweets and a golden gnome hunt.
The special features at this years show didn't go unnoticed either, with the Rix Petroleum stand winning 1st prize for the "Best Agricultural stand" at the show.
Commenting on the win, marketing manager James Brook commented " It's great to see our efforts this year for the 50th anniversary being rewarded by the Driffield Agricultural society's judging panel. Each year we try to improve our stand and come up with a different theme, so to win really di mean a lot to all the staff.
Below are a few photo's from the day.
