Rix Petroleum and the local farming community in the Midlands have been pulling together to offer help to farmers on the Somerset Levels as they struggle to cope with the devastating floods.

When we heard through our local farming community they were donating forage and fodder for livestock we were delighted to get involved, and yesterday afternoon we delivered our donation of 200 litres of fuel (£300 worth) to get the delivery vehicles to their destination.

Paul Doherty, Director of Rix Petroleum Midlands said, “As many of our customers are local farmers, we appreciate how difficult the floods must be proving for the farmers on the Somerset Levels, and we’re really pleased that we have been able to contribute.”
