This Christmas, 43 million Brits are expected to head out for a stroll, according to conservation charity the National Trust, and it's a good thing, too! It may not be too surprising to yourself but more than two thirds of people commend the annual Christmas Day walk as the perfect way to spend quality time together, topping other festive activities such as watching TV or preparing Christmas dinner! Research has shown us that the traditional Christmas walk slashes family arguments on Christmas Day by half! Did you know the National Trust found that walking is considered a bicker-free festive activity by 82 per cent of Brits.

To encourage your family members and friends to head out and enjoy a breath of fresh air, and cut down the stress levels, the National Trust has unveiled its top winter strolls around the UK and we at Rix have pulled them together for you. Rix is a leading supplier of heating oil supplying oil at the best prices for domestic and commercial purposes.
