Extreme wintry weather brings about many challenges for all of us up and down the country, causing considerable disruption to the normal routine of life until the snow melts and arctic temperatures pass. At Rix Petroleum, we’re feeling the cold too.
The severe winter weather we’re all currently experiencing has seen demand for heating oil increase significantly. Whilst we have measures in place to cope with increased demand during times like this, there are some situations that are out of our control. Many of the rural roads our delivery tankers use become dangerous and often inaccessible when there are layers of snow on the ground. During such times, delays are unavoidable due to safety concerns and accessibility issues.
Our colleagues here at Rix Petroleum are working as hard as possible to ensure our customers receive their orders promptly and on time. But unfortunately, due to current circumstances, there will be instances during the course of the next few days where delays do happen. Please bear with us.
We do offer emergency 25 litre supplies of heating oil which can be purchased from your local depot should you require a top up before your order arrives.
If you have any concerns or questions about your order, please contact your local depot and they will be able to give you more information. Contact details can be found here.
On behalf of everyone at Rix Petroleum, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and continued custom.
