One of the most important dates in the farming calendar is fast approaching, the Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show (YAMS) starts next week.

During the last few months, Rix Petroleum’s Yorkshire depot has given three lucky competition winners 500 litres of Heating Oil to help prepare them for the colder months of the year.

Whether you’re flying abroad or stay-cationing in the UK this summer, you might be surprised to learn some of your everyday holiday essentials are produced using different types of oil. Rix petroleum is an expert heating oil company, supplying homes and businesses throughout the UK with heating oil.

For the second year running, oil heated households are celebrating having the cheapest fuel bills. A recent report* comparing seven different types of home heating has found that Heating Oil customers are paying just under £600 less than LPG heating and still remain cheaper than homes on mains gas.

Our Rix Petroleum Midlands depot is very proud to have won the 'Best large trade stand' award at this years Kenilworth Show which took place on the 10th June 2017.

Our new West Country depot recently ran a colouring competition with local schools and groups, who were asked to decorate a picture of a Rix tanker for the chance to win 500 litres of Heating Oil.

A local Norfolk school and village have received donations totally £1,100 from our Rix Petroleum East Anglia depot.

We are thrilled to announce that independent customer review platform Feefo has awarded us with the Gold Service Award for the third year running.

On Wednesday 12th April, Rix Petroleum will be hosting their first Rix Agricultural Open Day at the Rix Pavilion in Driffield.
