The Rix Petroleum We Care Competition sees local causes flood in

The Rix Petroleum We Care competition is now in full swing, where community groups, charities and not for profit organisations have all submitted entries to win £500 worth of goods or services for their local cause.

So far the we care competition has seen a great spread of entries from right across the country all supporting a large variety of causes.

Here is a roundup of entries so far:

In East Anglia a local school cares about their bird watching club where as in Lincolnshire they care about young people with disabilities and local pond life. In Mercia the senior citizens club care about their local gym and keep fit classes which is similar to the Midlands where cricket is the number one top caring cause so far. In the North East there is a spread of caring causes from social activities and football right through to girl guides groups and play equipment that is central to their communities. In Yorkshire & Humber we see a number of entries rangingfrom toys and play equipment for childrentosport, outdoor pursuits and disability friendly access into venues.

James Brook the Marketing Manager at Rix Petroleum commented and said 'We are really pleased to be able to support great causes in the heart of the local communities Rix Petroleum serves. Just reading through each of the entries makes me feel proud that so many local groups are doing some wonderful things.'

Browsers can vote for their winner by clicking the Facebook 'like' button at the bottom of each entry page. The competition closes on Monday July 22nd 2013 so why don't you tell us what you care about in your local community and submit an entry to win £500 for your local cause.
