Hours: 40 Hours a week (plus overtime)

Salary depending on experience.

We are looking for two HGV Technicians/Mechanics to join our dedicated team at Rix Trucks based in Hull, Bankside. You will be expected to work a shift system Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays on a rota basis.

Applicants must have extensive experience in HGV repairs with excellent diagnostic, repair and customer service skills as will be often working alone at our customers premises without direct supervision.

Ideally as a HGV Technician/Mechanic you will come from a time served motor vehicle technician background having attained appropriate City & Guilds, NVQ or B/TEC qualifications. More importantly, you will have experience of working in a Heavy Goods Vehicle workshop.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure, to actively seek solutions to problems with good verbal communication skills. Providing excellent customer service is paramount.

• Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI)

• MOT Preparation

• Servicing

• Repairs

• Diagnostics

• Breakdown attendance

A HGV Licence advantageous but not essential
