Rix Heating Services are a dedicated heating services team providing installation & maintenance services to our Petroleum business customer base, we have a full-time vacancy available for someone to work in the Driffield & Beverley area. We are looking to recruit an Oil Heating Service Engineer

As a Heating Engineer, you would meet the following criteria:

• Ideally previous background in service & repair of oil fired heating systems.

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating.

• Ideally OFTEC qualified.

• A good professional manner when dealing with customers.

• The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.

• Full driving licence.

• You must live in the working area.

The successful candidate will receive:

The Role:

The key responsibilities for the role are:

• Adhering to safe working practices and Health and Safety instructions.

• Service & repair oil fired heating appliances and associated equipment including domestic boilers and commercial warm air heaters.

• All associated documentation to be completed with care to ensure compliance.

• Fault diagnostics on all types of oil fired heating systems.

• Responsible for dealing with customers ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

• Responsible for attending training as required.

• Participate in on call rota system.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,500.00—£30,000.00 per year + overtime (depending on experience)
