I write this as a huge thank you for organising an urgent oil delivery to my mum. She is nearly 80 years old and normally my brother organises the oil delivery. She was really panicked as my brother was away on holiday and called me in London to help. I initially spoke with Duncan Lambert, and then to another man on the sales desk and then the service team.

By noon me mother had received the delivery and the service engineer had the boiler and Aga working. Please pass my thanks to all who where involved in sorting this out - terrific work!

Just a quick note to say how impressed we were with the engineers who came to fit our new boiler. Not only were they polite and respectful at all times but they were meticulous in cleaning up after themselves. Apart from the gap where the Rayburn used to be, you would not know that they had been. No praise too high for Rix for customer response ! Just as the December cold snap started we ran out of oil at home. I sent an e-mail and rang on the Friday morning, and the tanker turned up at our house first thing on the Saturday morning. Impeccable as I guess demand had just shot up us well

I    live on Hawes Green, Shotesham St. Mary and have just had a delivery of heating oil, I would like to take this opportunity  to make you aware of the professionalism and value of one of your drivers, Matt. As most places have a covering of icy compacted snow, it was not possible to actually get the tanker up the very slight gradient of our drive. Matt paced out the  distance from tanker to oil tank and fortunately, had just enough length of hose to reach the tank. The oil was delivered, which I am extremely grateful for, as we were getting somewhat low. Matt was very helpful and courteous and is an assett to your company. I would like to pass on my gratitude and praise, where praise is due.

Last Friday the 14that nearly 5.30pm I discovered an oil leak to my boiler, a phone call to your Hull office and within 45 mins a man was here and by 6.30pm repair sorted. All this at a time when weather was atrocious. Hows that for service.

Just wanted to say thank you to whoever made it possible for my oil delivery to arrive today (Saturday 4th Feb). We had no heating/hot water since Thursday night and the lady I spoke to said that you could not guarantee delivery before Tuesday 7th but would try and get it for Monday.  I was extremely surprised when Matt knocked on my door at 10am Saturday.

My first contact with Rix was at the beginning of January 2011 when some heating oil companies weren’t being very “fair” or helpful. Despite my order only being comparatively small you were willing to make a delivery (earlier than estimated) and were willing to quote an actual price while some other companies would only give an estimate. I felt that Rix were demonstrating the sort of values I feel gives an excellent service to their customers.

  Would like you to pass on my thanks to some of your team for their excellent customer service. One of them – the lady (think I remember her name as Trish) who took my call on a freezing morning when my Aga was not working and who had such a friendly and reassuring manner, then called me back so I knew what was happening about when I could expect a visit. The other is the engineer (he signed the sheet T. Williams)who braved terrible icy road conditions into our village on three occasions, was friendly and polite and patient when explaining the problem and who made time for a late call so I didn’t have another night without heat and cooker.

I would just like to thank your staff for being so effcient on Saturday evening when my boiler had broken down...within an hour Robin had arrived, discovered the problem repaired it and my boiler was working again.
