Team Rix run the Chester Marathon

They joined over 5000 people for the city’s 6th annual marathon weekend, and the only one of its kind with a metric marathon.

The weather was glorious, almost a little too hot, but our team weren’t fazed and all completed the marathon with smiles on their faces, as you can see from the photo – taken after they finished the marathon.

The team were running in aid of the Down’s Syndrome Association, a charity which is a valuable resource supporting people of all ages with down’s syndrome, their families, carers and professionals. They raised over £1500 for the caharity.
