Rix Petroleum has been supplying local customers with Heating Oil and commercial fuel throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region for over 70 years. As part of the family owned, independent J R Rix and Sons the company has a rich heritage that spans 140 years of history, which was founded in Hull in 1873, where our head office is still located today.
Our friendly, dedicated sales, customer service and heating teams pride themselves in their product and industry knowledge. With a dedicated operations team ensuring our fleet of 30 tankers delivers heating oil and fuel efficiently and effectively throughout the region.
Rix currently holds up to 9,000,000 litres of stock at any one time; this is made up with ULSD, Gas Oil, and Kerosene (heating oil) products held in a modern facility that is fitted with the latest state of the art equipment, adding security, efficiency and independence of supply to all of our customers.
All our fuel products are brought in by Barge, a unique feature of our organisation which we are proud to say significantly reduces the impact our trucks have on the local road network.
Our team of delivery drivers have an amazing amount of local knowledge and are trained to the very highest of standards, which gives us the ability to deliver an exceptional and consistent service, which rivals our competitors. Our in house training facility is fine tuned within every area of our organisation to ensure continual improvements in our service. And for piece of mind we provide an emergency spill response trailer, to be at your location in express time.
