Domestic Heating Oil & Commercial Fuels:
The Rix Petroleum Alnwick depot opened in July 2010, storing and delivering home heating oil (kerosene), Diesel and Gas Oil, which proudly services farms, domestic and commercial customers throughout the Northumberland area. Rix are one of the last remaining family owned, independent fuel suppliers left in the North East.
At launch, this depot housed two 6 wheeler tankers, which has now increased serving the area and further afield with two more tankers based in Cramlington, and one 6 wheeler and an 8 wheeler to service Tyneside, Tyne Valley and Durham
In addition we also introduced a manned office at Felton in October 2011 which allows us to process requests, deliveries and care for our customers needs even more efficiently than before.

My first contact with Rix was at the beginning of January 2011 when some heating oil companies weren’t being very “fair” or helpful. Despite my order only being comparatively small you were willing to make a delivery (earlier than estimated) and were willing to quote an actual price while some other companies would only give an estimate. I felt that Rix were demonstrating the sort of values I feel gives an excellent service to their customers.
