What is AdBlue?
European legislation requires that all trucks and buses registered after October 2006 must be EuroIV compliant. The Selected Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system in these vehicles refreshes the exhaust catalyst with a special solution that minimises noxious and particulate exhaust emissions.
The generic name for this catalyst is AdBlue and the AdBlue brand that Rix distributes is called Rix AdBlue. AdBlue is a 32.5% solution of Urea in distilled water.
Sophisticated engine technology advances ignition timing to deliver fuel savings on the trucks that use Rix AdBlue
Rix AdBlue is supplied by the manufacturers GreenChem, for more information visit the GreenChem website on the folowing link www.greenchem-adblue.com
